Tuan Zaharudin bin Zainuddin of Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) delivered his presentation on disposal of Total Loss – Registration Card (RC) and Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC).
KUALA LUMPUR, 30 August 2021 – Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) organised a briefing by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) for insurance companies and takaful operators in returning Total Loss registration cards virtually. The briefing was organised with the co-operation of Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) and Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA).

Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC delivered her Welcome Speech, then followed by an introduction session. She also delivered her presentation on nationwide vehicle theft and the relationship between vehicle theft and Total Loss registration cards. The initiative was aligned with VTREC’s main objective to reduce vehicle theft in the country including reducing the ‘rebirthing’ of illegal vehicle to be put back on the road and cloned vehicles of which exposing public to risks.

The event then moved to Tuan Zaharudin bin Zainuddin of Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) to deliver his briefing on the procedure of disposal of Total Loss registration card (RC) and Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC).
