KUALA LUMPUR, 1 December 2021: The Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) in collaboration with its stakeholders are embarking on a webinar focusing on the danger of using stolen or fake vehicle spare parts entitled “ Awas! Bahaya Alat Ganti Kenderaan Curi atau Palsu (Warning! Danger of Stolen or Fake Vehicle Parts)”.
The webinar is part of VTREC’s public engagement and awareness initiative to educate, to engage, to spread and to increase public awareness about the adverse effects of stolen or fake vehicle parts. When a stolen or fake vehicle part malfunctions, the consequences can be severe as far as serious injury or death. The stolen or fake vehicle parts are increasingly putting road users’ safety at risk.
