Numbers of public queues for not to miss the explanation and learn the tips to prevent being a victim of vehicle theft at VTREC Booth

VTREC booth exhibition and public awareness aimed at creating public awareness on protecting their vehicle by keeping it safe and secure.  The public is encouraged to install the anti-theft device and audible alarm system among others to use anti-theft devices such as steering wheel lock, gear lock, or window etching.  Other than that public can take their level of vehicle security a step further by improving security systems such as immobilizers, alarm systems flashing lights and making a noise sound, and safe keeping of the key knob for keyless car systems.

Public responsibility entails the prevention of such crime, not just the crime of vehicle theft but also other common related crimes such as smuggling, drug trafficking, violent crimes, and so forth, as stolen vehicles are often used as tools to facilitate other crimes.

VTREC’s exhibition not just attracts adults but also engaged younger audiences aiming to change their attitude and behavior because it is an issue they can understand and relate to.  Teaching children about vehicle theft in an age-appropriate way is so important for their development, it helps shape their attitude and behavior toward vehicle theft and how they can play their role to protect their family vehicles. More than 1,500 brochures were distributed today.
