KUALA LUMPUR, 27 June 2024:  The Chairman of Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC), YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan, this morning delivered an Opening Key Note Address at the International Bodyshop Industry Symposium 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, titled Transforming Tomorrow Together.

 

In his speech, YBhg Datuk Lokman highlighted that among others when it comes to vehicle damaged, vehicle stolen and vehicle claims related, the thoroughness of inspection and data or information captured and reported play a crucial role in ensuring fair transaction for all respective parties.

With the advancements of technology and the integration of precise data captured mechanism is redefining the accuracy of the inspection, providing all parties with a more transparent and equitable process and transactions.  The accurate data capture and the legitimate incidents which took place form the bedrock of fair process for all.

YBhg Datuk Lokman praises the organiser, International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS)  IBIS in partnership with Motordata Research Consortium Sdn Bhd (MRC Malaysia) for organising the meaningful Symposium where it puts forward latest technology and best practice sharing.  Also presents during the event was YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC and Puan Marlyana Mansur, Executive VTREC, the event took place at Mandarin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
