YDH Dato’ Huzir bin Mohamed, Director of CID delivering his note
KUALA LUMPUR, 26 June 2019: Continuing the engagement with the public on awareness of vehicle theft initiatives, The Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia Bhd (VTREC) in collaboration with the Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) embarked its Soft Launch of 2-month long public awareness campaign on reduction of vehicle theft with slogan “SAY NO TO VEHICLE THEFT”. The Soft Launch Ceremony was officiated by YDH Dato’ Huzir bin Mohamed, Director of CID, Polis Diraja Malaysia at Bukit Aman police headquarters today.
The collaboration and combination of VTREC and PDRM’s effort not only succeeded in achieving positive effects but also supported the recent YAB Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s recommendation to re-establish the objective and value of “Malaysia Incorporated” work, for instant co-operation between the public agencies and the private sectors.
The campaign will be running hashtag contests on social media, including #VTRECPledgeWall Contest, #VTRECStickerSelfie Contest and #VTRECBoothSnap Contest, quizzes, stamps hunting and lucky draws.
