Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid handed over face masks to YBhg Dato’ Sri Shaharuddin Khalid
PUTRAJAYA, 23 APRIL 2020 – Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia Berhad (VTREC) contributed 3,000 pieces of 3-layer face masks to Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ).
YBhg Dato’ Sri Shaharuddin Khalid, Director General of Road Transport Department of Malaysia accepted the contributed face masks from Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, VTREC Manager in a simple symbolic ceremony held today.
The JPJ not just being the Frontliners in combating the deadly COVID-19 pandemic but also to ensure the crime of vehicle theft is prevented. The contribution was part of VTREC’s initiative to support the government agency and during the challenging time of COVID-19 pandemic. The face masks remain one of the most sought items during COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative would lighten the Frontliners pressure from being expose to COVID-19 while doing their job.
