Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid handed over face masks to Tuan Aznan bin Bahar
BUKIT AMAN, 23 APRIL 2020 – Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia Berhad (VTREC) contributed 1,000 pieces of 3-layer face masks to Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) – Division 4, Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur. Tuan Aznan bin Bahar from PDRM – Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Division 4, Bukit Aman accepted the contributed face masks from Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, VTREC Manager in a simple symbolic ceremony held at Bukit Aman today.
Following the COVID-19 outbreak and the recent spike, the pandemic has severely affected the country. The PDRM as the Frontliners have worked tediously to ensure the Movement Control is enforce with ultimate aim to break the strain of COVID-19. At the same time the police personnel assigned at enforcing the MCO also went on crime prevention rounds including vehicle theft crime to ensure the crime index is contained.
The PDRM continues to devote their time and energy to combat the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. During the MCO period, PDRM increases the number of road blocks and patrols to ensure the country remains safe. The contribution was part of VTREC’s initiative to support the PDRM personnel as Fronliners during this challenging time from being expose to COVID-19 while doing their job.
