Puan Mas Tina representing a souvenir to YBhg Dato’ Johari bin Alifiah
PUTRAJAYA, 14 July 2020: Representative from Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to YBhg Dato’ Johari bin Alifiah, Deputy Director General of Customs (Enforcement/Compliance).
YBhg Dato’ Johari bin Alifiah, welcomed Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC and Puan Afif Aliyana Abu Fitri, Executive VTREC in his office, also present was YBhg Dato’ Iskandar bin Jaafar, Director of Customs. In the meeting Puan Mas Tina congratulates him on his appointment as the new Director of VTREC representing KASTAM on VTREC Board. Among others, Puan Mas Tina gave a brief background of VTREC, touched on issues pertaining to stolen vehicle being smuggled through ports and the installation of high tech scanners at ports. While, YBhg Dato’ Johari shared his experiences and views in regard to automotive and vehicle theft.
The visit which was performed in a warm atmosphere of which gave an opportunity to have a fruitful discussion and to strengthen relationship to driving down the rate of vehicle theft. The visit ended by Puan Mas Tina representing a souvenir and expressing good wishes for further co-operation.
