Tuan Supt Dr Mohammad Feroz, Assistant Director, NCB Interpol Malaysia received a courtesy call from the VTREC Management
BUKIT AMAN, 27 August 2020: The Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) paid a courtesy call on Tuan Supt. Dr. Mohammad Feroz Bin Kamal, Assistant Director of National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol Malaysia in Bukit Aman.
The courtesy call led by VTREC’s Co-ordinator, Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid together with Encik Muhammad Alif Mohd Adnan, VTREC Executive, who also in attendance, saw an exchange of information on vehicle theft crime and potential opportunities of collaboration particularly on international reach and networking with the other countries.
During the visit, Puan Mas Tina highlighted the increasing of sophisticated crime in regards to vehicle theft around the world such as key-less crimes. She also expressed her concerns on the possibility of the trend to escalate and being well known in general, thus increasing the rate of vehicle theft of Malaysia.
Tuan Supt Dr Mohammad Feroz seems delighted with the idea by showing his support to assist VTREC to gain the best practices in combating vehicle theft through knowledge and practical learning from the other countries. At the end of the meeting, Puan Mas Tina thanked Tuan Supt Dr Mohammad Feroz for his time and co-operation.
