KLANG, 15 April 2023: Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) continues its vehicle theft prevention awareness in collaboration with Bahagian Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (BPJKK), Polis Diraja Malaysia, Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Klang Selatan at GM Klang Whole City in a bid to increase awareness amongst public especially in the upcoming of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2023.

VTREC was invited by IPD Klang Selatan to join forces to raise awareness on vehicle theft in conjunction with the IPD’s Hari Bertemu Pelanggan Peringkat IPD Klang Selatan with theme “Rioooh Raya 2023” at GM Klang Whole City, Klang, Selangor. VTREC’s theme “Protect Your Vehicle from Theft” emphasises the need to protect vehicle against theft as a prerequisite for ensuring vehicle owner wellbeing and to reduce record of crime of vehicle theft nationwide. As an organisation that spearheaded the advocacy to spread the awareness among society in combating vehicle theft, VTREC joined hands with IPD Klang Selatan. The event was officiated by YDH Tuan ACP Cha Hoong Fong,OCPD of Klang Selatan.
Talk on Vehicle Theft and Road Safety delivered by Co-ordinator VTREC, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid with the audiences at GM Klang Wholesale City.
During the event, the Co-ordinator of VTREC, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid delivered a talk on vehicle theft and road safety including latest statistics and data on various types on transportation, cases recorded by states and the danger of using fake and stolen spare parts. The session ended with a pop quiz among the audience to motivate participation and communication.
The engaging moment in the event during YDH Tuan ACP Cha Hoong Fong accompanied by Co-ordinator of VTREC, YBrs Puan Mas Tina went for 15 minutes walkabout (Meet and Greet) with the public at GM Klang Whole City. Also present during the event were officers of GM Klang Whole City and a performance by the Anggota of Amanita IPD Kelang Selatan.
