KUCHING, 25 July 2023: The Deputy Police Commissioner of Sarawak, YDH DCP Mancha Anak Ata, today received a courtesy call from Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid to boost bilateral co-operation.
YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia signs the Visitor’s Book at IPK Sarawak witnessed by The Deputy Police Commissioner of Sarawak, YDH DCP Mancha Anak Ata and other PDRM Officers.
At the outset, YDH DCP Mancha Anak Ata welcomed the visit of VTREC Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid. In the meeting, at Sarawak Contingent Police Headquarters which also attended by YDH SAC Wong Ling Feng, Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, YDH SAC Mohd Taufik Loh Abdullah, Ketua Cawangan Khas, YDH SAC Lukas Aket, Ketua Jabatan Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti, YDH ACP James Jonathan, Ketua Urusetia Pentadbiran and Puan Nur Alwanie Iberahim, VTREC Executive witnessed the exchange of views on nation and state vehicle theft issues of mutual interest. YDH DCP Mancha Anak Ata also stated that the relationship between VTREC and PDRM Sarawak is important to further reduce vehicle theft in the state.
The visit involved fruitful discussion of common interests and efforts among others exploring ways and means to further reduce vehicle theft in the state including the important to enhance public advocacy through education, awareness and engagement for the public, community and students as well as further strengthen ties.
