KUALA LUMPUR, 9 December 2023: Government agencies and non-government agencies participated in the Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC)’s Friendly Golf Match held recently at Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia (KGPA). Taking part in the event were YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ), Tuan ASP Azmizal Ahmad Basri, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Tuan ASP Awang Abu Bakar Awang Rosli (PDRM), Tuan Hashim Ahmad (JPJ), Tuan Wan Mohd Sharifudin Wan Hassan (JPJ), Encik Roslan Mohammad, Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC), Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid (VTREC), Mr Lee Thim Fook, Association of Malaysian Loss Adjusters (AMLA), Encik Harun Mohd Joned, Sime Darby Auto Import, Encik Kamarulnizam Mohd Kamal, Sime Darby Hyundai Sdn Bhd, Encik Saiful Nizam Jahaludin, Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad and Encik Shahril Affandy Mohamad, Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad.
The VTREC’s Friendly Golf aimed to strengthen the relationship between VTREC, government agencies, and non-government including the insurance industry.
Remarks by YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan, Acting Chairman of VTREC
Speaking at the event while celebrating the players, YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan, Acting Chairman of VTREC said that golf is an exceptional sport as it provides a venue and opportunity for VTREC to gain valuable insights from the stakeholders for VTREC to perform better in the future to come. He also hopes that the valuable event will continue in the future to further strengthen the relationships and networks among VTREC’s stakeholders.
“The collaboration and participation established through this golf sport is meaningful for VTREC to collaborate with the respective stakeholders present today. It enables to strengthen ties at a greater distance,” he said.
