More than 70 stolen cars were repatriated from Thailand since January to August this year. They were among smuggled vehicle seized by Thai Customs and Royal Thai Police. The cars from various models were stolen in Malaysia and smuggled into Thailand. Among others, on January 2015 Thai Royal Police Chief, Mr Somyot Poompanmoug returns luxury cars to Inspector-General of Royal Malaysia Police, Tan Sri Dato Sri Khalid bin Abu Bakar at the Royal Thai Police in Bangkok, Thailand. All of the cars have been returned to the rightful owners in Malaysia.
