BUKIT AMAN, 11 February 2022: Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC), Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) and Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) entourage led by Mr Antony Lee, Chairman of PIAM cum Director of VTREC paid a courtesy call on YDH CP Datuk Wira Mat Kasim Karim, Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Director (JSPT) to congratulate him on his appointment as the new Director of Bukit Aman JSPT at his office replacing YDH CP Dato’ Azisman Alias who went on mandatory retirement recently.
Also present were Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC, Encik Azli Munani, Executive Secretary of MTA, Puan Afif Aliyana Abu Fitri, Executive Officer of VTREC, YDH Tuan Supt Azman Bin Samsuri, KPP Logistik and YDH Tuan Supt Dr Bakri bin Haji Zainal Abidin, Principal Assistance Director (Enforcement), Bukit Aman.
Both sides exchange views and discussed various issues among others vehicle theft stolen parts which resulting in road traffic accidents as well as improving road safety. Both sides stressed the important of PIAM, MTA, VTREC or insurance industry at large and JSPT collaboration in overcoming the road accidents situation, improving wellbeing of the people and reducing road accident fatalities and causalities. The discussion also touched on possible ways to increase collaboration in mutual beneficial endeavours.
